HLM Carosserrie is established
HLM is Established in Heerenveen by Heering-Lamboo-Mulder. With the Goal to combine the strengths of all 3 partners and become on of the largest manufacturing plants for refrigerated and dry semi trailers

2000 Semi Trailers Produced
By 2002 - 2000 Semi trailers have been produced in the manufacturing plant of HLM. HLm becomes sole supplier of Kögel.

HLM INTERNATIONAL Established in Izmir/Turkey
In cooperation with Yücel Grup - HLM invests in a GRP Panel manufacturing plant in Izmir - Forming HLM International and shaping the HLM of today.
2009
Sandwich panel production starts in Izmir
HLM Heerenveen has been closed permanently and production of GRP Sandwich panels has started at HLM International Izmir. HLM International focuses on the production of Sandwich panels and has stopped production of fully assembled Semi Trailers.

Construction of new plant starts
Construction of the New Aliağa OSB plant has started

Engineering

After our commercial team has discussed all requirements with you and have come to an agreement - our technical team will start the design process of your GRP Sandwich panels or box bodies. Together with our commercial team and you, meetings will be held regularly to make sure no details are forgetten. After you have signed off on the design - manufacturing will join and we start planning your project.

Pre-Treatment

After our technical team has finished the design and technical drawings, the project is passed on to phase 1 of manufacturing - Pre Treatment. This is where all of the material required for the production of your Sandwich Panels is prepared - With the help of our CNC 3 router, we can work with 1/1000 tolerances allowing us to place all your required inserts at the exact location they are needed.

Quality Check 1

This is our first and one of the most important quality control check points - this is where all processed RAW Materials are being checked according to your design before lamination processes start.

Lamination

After QC1 has approved all materials, they are passed on to Phase 2 of production which is the panel building department. This is where your panels will be manufactured.

Machining

Phase 3 is machining - This is where we make sure that all sandwich panels are cut to the correct size and within all tolerances. Any required cut outs are done in this stage.

Assembly (If Box Body Kit)

Phase 4 of manufacturing is where any required assembly work is taken care of. This is where we do the assembly of our CKD or EFAS box body kits - or if requested we can assemble customer specific requirements. being in Türkiye we have the opportunities to have your own custom profiles made very quickly.

Final Quality Check

Our final quality check will make sure all the Sandwich panels or body kits are exactly what you requested according to our strict quality standards.

Packaging

Our packaging team makes sure that all your panels are shipped safely and will not be harmed during transport. Being flexible and creative to make sure shipments leave at maxiumum capacity is something we have mastered over the years.
